About word and page

The proprietor of word and page is Clive Tolley. Since studying Classics, English, Norse, and Finnish and taking an MA and D.Phil. at Oxford University I have been running my own company offering editorial and design services since 1996; I have undertaken training in various aspects of publishing at the London College of Printing, Publishing Training Centre, West Herts College, and the Society for Editors and Proofreaders. Clients have included some of the major publishing houses, such as Oxford University Press, Boydell & Brewer, and Manchester University Press, as well as enterprises such as the government’s Learning and Skills Council, and private clients both in the UK and Europe. I am an Advanced and Registered member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
